Nancy, Workers’ Compensation Specialist

Nancy

Nancy

Nancy is a California native, being born and raised as a “Valley Girl” in and around the San Fernando Valley, in So. CA.  She first moved to northern California in the 1980’s because she wanted to be around big trees and water.  Nancy and her family, lived in Nevada County for nearly 30 years and then moved to So. Oregon for the last 5.  She relocated to the Placerville area March of 2009 to be closer to family and to start a job with PHC as a Workers’ Compensation specialist.

Nancy worked with chiropractic offices both in Placer and Nevada Counties and the Bay area before going back to college to get her degrees in Fine Art (her passion), Applied Arts and Design – she is also the person that created the PHC website! Her decision to go back to work in a Chiropractic office was inspired by her desire to see a more causal relief of unhealthy or painful conditions, her interest in holistic health care and wanting to be an advocate for patients and their rights to receive proper care.

Nancy has been married to her husband, Bruce for almost 18 years. (They got married while on a trip to Egypt!) She has a son, Shaun who lives in Grants Pass, Oregon with his wife and a daughter, Heidi, who lives with her husband and two children, Arianna , age 8 and Nicholas, age 4, near the Denver area.

Bruce and Nancy currently share their home in So. Oregon with their 17 year old rag doll/Siamese mix cat, Katmandu - who she claims is ”real lover boy and adores being held and hugged.” When their home in Oregon sells, the current plan is to make their home in the Placerville area.

When not at work Nancy spends many of her week-ends quadding or (hopefully asked to go) boating with her brother, Harvey and sis-in-law, Cherilyn or helping her elderly mother, who also just relocated to Eskaton Village in Placerville.

She hopes to make time for her favorite hobbies which are painting and photography (see her work at NancyBolton.com) or designing beaded jewelry. In the past, Nancy has had her paintings displayed in 20th Street Gallery in Sacramento – she even sold a few!

Nancy, also enjoys traveling the world but when that is not a possibility she does like relaxing with an interesting book or watching a good movie.

New to this area, Nancy hopes to join a photography club or art association and would like to volunteer at the pet shelter working with cats.

“I feel very blessed to be surrounded by such caring, loving  friends and family.  In the economic climate we live in today, and the sometimes harsh times we are experiencing -  there is absolutely nothing more important.”
